Tom Powers and Bill Wilson wrote the 12 and 12 together. Had a huge falling out due to Bill's Sex addiction.

Tom Powers helped Bill Wilson to write Bill's second book, Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions. Francis Hartigan, who was Lois Wilson's private secretary and confidant, recently wrote a biography of Bill Wilson. For it, Hartigan interviewed Tom Powers, and quoted Tom as saying that he had urged Bill to quit his smoking and womanizing:

"All the while we were working on the 'Twelve and Twelve,'" Tom said, "I would argue with him, 'you're killing yourself.

Just see people asking this questions. I was shocked to learn this. I know some one personally who met Tom Powers who helped Bill write it. He no money at all.

AA Sponsor Accused of Sex Assault

Longmont police arrested Laureano Sifuentes, 64, Wednesday night on suspicion of unlawful sexual contact. Sifuentes posted bond Thursday morning.

Boulder detectives have been investigating Sifuentes since November 2011 when a woman reported that Sifuentes had touched her inappropriately during a meeting that he had scheduled at a Boulder hotel. read more…

When did it become okay to kill someone but use the fact that you have been attending meeting of Alcoholics ANonymous to try and get off? When did AA get such a Gold Standard? What does that mean?

WHo really cares that you attend AA. What really is going on in meetings anyway. Old timers hitting on new comers, sexual predatory behavior, gossip, small talk, bullying, the repetitious reading of a book written in 1936 that has never been updated at ALL!

The violent offenders are coming in droves yet the AA NY headquarters has taken no action to protect or even warn the current and new AA member. Warn your friends. Be warned. AA is now and has been very very dangerous.
