So far as i have heard and read AA is a fellowship if men and women, it does not have any offices and it does not publish anything.

Goups pass the basket even when they do not need the money.

I think it best to never give any AA group any money for any reason.

No, I’m not in AA anymore; I’m in SOS. I found this site through their webpage. On a much smaller scale, I used to go to an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting where the treasurer confessed she had stolen the money. Other members of the group voted to let her continue being treasurer without even demanding she pay the money she had already stolen back. Well, surprise, surprise, she stole the money again!
