Now one more thing. I have my opinion about SLOA. I can’t imagine one saying they are powerless over their sex life. There use to be a word. It was called promiscuous. The blind leading the blind.
I am WARNING YOU HERE AND NOW> AA< NA, SLOA have become a dumping ground for the courts sending pedophiles, murderers and rapist’s into rooms that have NO PROTECTION, NO POLICES FOR SAFETY and in fact new comers are the most vulnerable and the PREDATORS know it. There is not one 12 step tradition that OVER RIDES the “LAW” in The United States. NONE! If someone quotes you something from their books from 1939 and 1955, just tell them AA is not a secret society and they all have to abide by the law. That means no harassment of any kind.
That means no sexual innuendoes. Unwanted advances. Tell your group they must read a warning statement or they can and will be held liable. Even an individual can be sued in civil court and if the harassment still comes after you said to stop it’s time to go to the court and police to file incident reports and restraining orders. Create the paper trail and expect to educate the cops on the 2010 Violence against Women ACT!!!
There are other options besides 12 step. SMART RECOVERY is one. SOS, LIFE RING, Moderation Management, Hams Harm Reduction is another.
For over 25 years, starting with SOS, these other modalities have been around. Google….alternatives to AA.

…He threatened to “knock my teeth down the back of my throat ” if I went there….Because sex addicts and sociopaths feel massive “threat” in their own heads to anyone who reveals the mask they hide under…In this case he is a murderer, so I have to have more balls and I will, f*ck him, I went to the P.D. and have also contacted the FBI as he has a TRAIL of women he is killing and keeps on going..However..I saw a chick with brown hair running after him and she was “all taken” by his bullsh&t and I felt alarmed..I will be goin there next week to warn her…She seems like a nice person…The next target of the sociopath….But when you do try to warn them some of the time? The AA dogma has ME as the crazy one..and him with all of this “supposed time” …as he is a fu*king liar about everything..look at his morals..there are none…and they WANT SO BADLY to believe this so called “guru” …He even :smirked ” at me over it as even he knows…WTF are you supposed to do…other than putting a bullet in this guys a$$…..I am figuring out a plan I will be the flea on his ass for enternity as long as he is murdering vulnerable women that do not have their brains yet..Yeah, Dr. Bob and Bill Wilson LOL! Are Sexual Predators, Violent Criminals and Intimidating Alcoholics Anonymous Members Ruining Your Group?
Lately there have been a few stories posted here and on my http://www.leavingaa.com blog as well as on http://www.nadaytona.org and http://www.stinkin-thinkin.com that are just horrific. These stories are about Sponsor coercion, intimidation, bad 13 stepping aka sexual assault and harassment.
When I first started this blog it was just about bad 13 stepping. But quickly the stories posted to the world …here , along with private emails I received from both men and women who were fed up, left AA, abused, used and disenfranchised filled my file cabinet.
The file is now 2 inches thick with horror stories of all kinds.
Now finally there is something real brewing to defend the innocent from killers, rapists and your garden variety AA fucker who is sexually and financial screwing the regular average AA or NA member.
The tide has turned.
I hope that if any of you have a serious legal gripe with a person in AA/NA, that is non violent, file a civil lawsuit. You do not need a lawyer to file a lawsuit.
If it is violent, please document, contact us, contact the police, but we strongly suggest that you ask them if they are in AA. In fact, during the process, we highly suggest you say to each individual , cop, even a Police Chief, detective, Judge and lawyer…are you in AA/NA? If they are then we suggest you request that someone else handle your case. Then you can say ” It is a conflict of interest”- I need someone else to handle this case for me. Be strong and hold you ground on this one.
This is what happened initially with Jerry Sandusky. The first judge knew him and worked with him personally with at risk teens. She was thrown off the case and replaced.
Both NA and AA World Head Quarters are non profits and successful. Just like The Boy Scouts of America who was sued. AA in local areas can be sued if they know this is going on and do nothing. AA is in NY. NA is in Los Angeles. Area 5 and the West side District was put on notice and they not only ignored us but suppressed us and the truth and did not give us a chance or did they support the few districts who put on MAKE AA SAFER WORKSHOPS. IN fact one area as well as West LA was told that they would not put the flyer about the workshops up on the SO CAL AA website, because in quotes ” it might hurt the AA name and scare people away”.
Imagine that! They care more about their reputation then member safety.

Lawsuit Filed Against Alcoholics Anonymous World Services Over The Murder Of AA Member Karla Brada

Alcoholics Anonymous World Services and Santa Clarita Alcoholics Anonymous has been sued by the parents of murder victim Karla Brada.
Grieving parents say in court that their daughter was murdered by her sociopathic addict boyfriend because Alcoholics Anonymous concealed his history of domestic violence.
” The Mendezes say that AA showed a “reckless disregard for, and deliberate indifference … to the safety and security of victims attending AA meetings who are repeatedly preyed on at these meetings by financial, violent, and sexual predators like Earle.” AA has known for years that meetings “are repeatedly used by financial, sexual, and violent predators as a means to locate victims,” according to the lawsuit in Superior Court.
But nevertheless the organization has no “specific policies and guidelines concerning conduct of so-called ‘sponsors’” and does little to supervise them.”

Lance Glock Arrested Again for Sexual Assault in Covina September 4th, 2012 Update

Here is the man we outed from The first MAKE AA SAFER Workshop. Looks like pro AA’s were right. He was grabbing a young lady in a Home Goods Store. I guess he forgot he wasn’t in an AA meeting so he just did it anyway. But this time he was really in a Home Goods Store and not in an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting where it would have been covered up and nothing done.
Covina sex offender arrested for second time in two days

COVINA — A registered sex offender arrested Wednesday on suspicion of sexually battering a woman inside a Glendora store was arrested again Thursday on suspicion of child annoyance, police said.
Lance Glock, 51, of Covina, was being held in lieu of $20,000 bail at the Covina Police Department’s jail pending a scheduled arraignment Monday in West Covina Superior Court.
Police were summoned about 1:45 p.m. to a business in the 100 block of West Badillo Street after a 17-year-old girl and business owner “described some really unusual behavior,” Doonan said.
Glock had apparently walked up very close to the girl, making her uncomfortable, while asking for her name and other personal information, the lieutenant said.
Officers found him inside a nearby business and arrested him on suspicion of child annoyance, he said.
Glock had been released from jail in Glendora on his own recognizance the previous day after police in that city arrested him on suspicion of sexually battering a woman inside a HomeGoods store, officials said.
In that incident, he allegedly grabbed the woman from behind and sexually battered her, according to Glendora police.
Glock is a registered sex offender, however his image and address information are not featured on the statewide Megan’s Law database of sex registrants.
Details in his prior conviction were not available.

This is another tragic story of a woman who meets a killer in Alcoholics Anonymous and she thinks he’s a regular drunk. AA World Service needs to warn the public and its members that AA is not safe.
I hope her family will contact us. We already warned AA in NY in October of 2009 things were escalataing. Paul C warned them in 2008. Maybe someone will finally sue their …
