If they were reporting the truth, someone would have taken a picture of the grimy, sexual harassers, criminals, and the like at The Marina Center or some knarly meeting in lower Manhattan.

The New York Times should be ashamed of itself using such a misrepresenting picture of what AA meetings look like today!

  1. My (ex)sponsor will occasionaly post something pertaining to 12 Steps on my Facebook page. I am not sure what today’s rooms are like concerning this. But FB and AA can’t mix. Anonymity is out the window. And I am sure that Steppers will frequently post 12 Stepping agenda on someone’s FB page, outing their anonymity.
